Terms of Use
Effective July 21, 2026 · PixelPix public alpha
These Terms govern access to PixelPix, including the editor, online library, AI Retouch, feedback, and related services. By using PixelPix, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Eligibility and acceptance
You must be at least 13 years old and meet any higher minimum age required by your country. If you use PixelPix on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.
2. Public alpha service
PixelPix is experimental alpha software. Features, limits, interfaces, storage formats, providers, and availability may change without notice. The service may contain bugs, lose compatibility, produce unexpected results, or be temporarily unavailable.
Keep exported copies of important artwork. PixelPix is not a guaranteed archival or backup service.
3. Accounts and access
You are responsible for controlling access to your email account, devices, and PixelPix session. Do not share one-time login codes or attempt to access another user’s account or projects. Notify PixelPix if you believe your account has been compromised.
We may restrict registrations, suspend access, or close accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users, control costs, investigate abuse, comply with law, or operate the alpha.
4. Your content and ownership
You retain ownership of artwork, prompts, and other content you submit, subject to any rights belonging to others. You grant PixelPix and its service providers a limited permission to host, copy, transmit, process, resize, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to content you upload or process. Do not submit confidential information, personal data about others without permission, or content that violates law or third-party rights.
5. AI Retouch and generated output
AI features send selected artwork and prompts to third-party AI services. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, unexpected, or not unique. Similar outputs may be provided to other users. You must review output before using or distributing it and determine whether your intended use is lawful and appropriate.
PixelPix does not guarantee that AI output is free from third-party rights or suitable for commercial use. AI availability and daily allowances may be reduced, paused, or disabled at any time.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use PixelPix to:
- Break applicable law or infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
- Create, upload, or distribute malware, exploit code, unlawful sexual content, or content that facilitates serious harm.
- Harass, threaten, impersonate, defraud, or deceive another person.
- Probe, bypass, disable, or interfere with authentication, quotas, security controls, rate limits, or other users’ data.
- Use automated methods to create accounts, submit excessive requests, scrape the service, or impose unreasonable load.
- Resell access to PixelPix or its AI allowance without written permission.
7. Usage limits, changes, and termination
PixelPix may enforce limits on projects, frames, uploads, canvas dimensions, AI requests, concurrent work, or other resources. Limits may differ by user or change during the alpha. Attempts to evade limits may result in suspension.
You may stop using PixelPix at any time. Account and data deletion instructions are provided in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access for a Terms violation, security risk, legal requirement, prolonged inactivity, or discontinuation of the service.
8. Third-party services
PixelPix depends on services such as Supabase, OpenAI, Netlify, and Resend. Their services and policies may change, and PixelPix is not responsible for independent third-party websites or services. Your use of those components may also be subject to their applicable terms.
9. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PixelPix is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, security, accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or preservation of data.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PixelPix and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, lost profits, lost opportunities, lost data, or costs arising from use of or inability to use the service. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as PixelPix develops. Material updates will be published with a revised effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
